Books I'm Reading Now

I've mentioned before that I am a voracious reader and usually have a few books going at the same time. Most are what I think of as fun, escapist books in the genres of Fantasy, Sci Fi, and sometimes Romance. So, I thought I'd share what I'm reading now, or perhaps what I am listening to. I have a one-hour commute (each way) to the small private, non-profit university where I teach and do research as a leaderologist (one who studies leadership). During this long commute, I listen to audiobooks. I also typically spend at least an hour reading each evening before bed (sometimes more), so I don't always get to sleep early.

So here are the books queued up as audiobooks and the eBooks downloaded to
my tablet that I'm currently reading or just recently finished. I'd love you to comment on my Facebook page or through email to let me know if you've read any of these and whether you loved them or hated them. Also, please reach out with suggestions on what I should read or listen to next. Check out Sara Langhe Books on FB or email me through the publisher: saralanghe@stlhrpublishing.com
The Last Bookshop by Evie Woods - Absolutely loved this surreal, paranormal, sweet romance.
Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros - this one is actually up next for audiobook listening after becoming addicted to Fourth Wing and Iron Flame.
Where the Forest Meets the Stars by Glendy Vanderah - this one is up next on my list of eBooks.
Alien Clay by Adrian Tchaikovsky - Sci Fi with a lot of grit, perseverance, and new ways of thinking of life that would genuinely be alien to anything like humanity.
Slaughter's Cove: When the Sky Falls - not necessarily my first choice of books; however, as an audiobook, I got this one because I know and enjoy the narrator, Melissa Del Toro Schaffner.
Nora Roberts, The Seven Rings: Lost Bride Trilogy Book 3 - Because sometimes I need basic, light romance with a touch of haunted house, found family, and sweet romance to counterbalance Rebecca Yarros.
Finally, sometimes just for fun, I listen to Terry Mancour's Spellmonger series on my Audible account. It's hilarious, if occasionally tedious. I have no excuse for being addicted to this, so don't give me a hard time about it.
