Exciting Updates for

Summer is shaping up to be an exciting season for fans of The Spiral Awakens and the Spirals of Aztalun series. As the author behind these stories, I want to share updates on my major writing projects and plans to reintroduce beloved characters. Major Writing Projects Underway

The past few months have been intensely productive. I have been focused on completing the second book in the Spirals of Aztalun series, which will be published this Autumn. The sequel builds on the foundation laid in The Spiral Awakens, expanding the realm of Aztalun, deepening the relationships between the characters, and adding a few new elements I think you'll enjoy.

Expanding the Mythology of the Gods

The lore of Aztalun is richer than ever. New cultures and divine magical systems will be introduced. You'll also find hints at the history of Calista and the other gods. This expansion adds depth to the world and enhances the reading experience.

Character Development

I am revisiting a few characters beyond the Hexad. Themes of betrayal and renewal will be explored. I’ll also introduce new characters who will challenge and support the Hexad in unexpected ways. This will create dynamic interactions and keep the story engaging.

Plot Twists and Balance between Thought and Action

The story moves at a measured pace. This allows for thoughtful discussions and intrigue, along with twists that culminate in action sequences. Imagine the differences between the original Star Wars movie and The Empire Strikes Back. The balance between action and reflection will keep you on your toes.

Alongside the sequel, I am also outlining a third book in the Aztalun series. Additionally, I’m exploring a fourth book set in the past. This will delve into the realm of the gods long before we meet Calista and the Hexad.

New Projects on the Horizon

I’ve started drafting a science fiction space opera set in the far distant future. Most recently, I’m developing a concept for a contemporary novel. This story will likely be set in San Francisco and span a timeline from about 100 years ago to the present. That's still in the concept phase, but I'm excited about establishing a framework.

Reintroducing Characters Throughout the Summer

To build excitement for the upcoming release of book two, I plan to reintroduce the main characters from The Spiral Awakens over the summer months. These character spotlights will appear on my website and social media channels, providing fresh insights and behind-the-scenes details.
